The List- August ‘26

Just some things that have been inspiring me over the last month!

Visitor by Sienna Spiro

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Now I know The Real Housewives may not be considered the most captivating of TV viewing, but it sure is the modern day soap opera. I’ve been rewatching Seasons 2 and 3 and boy, is there drama. It’s honestly nice to have a comfort show that can allow you to totally dissociate from what is going on in your daily life. I think a RHONY rewatch is next in the cards for me…

Project Hail Mary

All I can say is WOW. This album is incredible. I know I’m a bit late to the Sienna Spiro train, but her music is simply so singular. When I first heard “He’s Not My Baby, I’m His,” it was on repeat in my headphones for a week. The rest of the album is just as stellarly well written. Her voice is also just out of this world. So glad to know that the 60s are having a revival!

This film is unlike anything else I’ve ever watched. The marriage of the story and the literal way the story was told were totally in tandem. I truthfully didn’t know what to expect when I put this movie on during a flight to London. It got me so deeply and really reminded me the social creatures that we as humans are. Ryan Gosling is incredible in it and it is such a universal story.
