My name is Maria and I am the luckiest girl in the world to be from Brooklyn, NY. Born into a vibrant Greek family as an only child, I quickly found singing and dancing to be a way for me to entertain myself. I would watch DVDs of Celine Dion concerts (my mom is a huuuge fan) and mimic her in our meager living room, singing River Deep, Mountain High to an audience of my stuffed animals.

I went on to study at the School of American Ballet for 6 years and perform with the New York City Ballet from the ages of 9 to 12. As a high schooler, I studied classical voice at LaGuardia High School and yes, it was exactly like the movie Fame.

Now a fresh graduate of NYU Tisch Drama, I am excited to share my Maria-ness with the rest of the world! I give the vibe of a young Olivia Benson, but I also feel at home in the period work of Tennessee Williams or a high energy musical. Offstage, you can catch me in the stacks of Strand Bookstore or watching an episode of The Sopranos for the hundredth time.
